Hooded Granny Square Baby Blanket Pattern

Not really a pattern, more a guideline! But I just made a really quick, cute and easy baby blanket.

Using an I-9 (5.5mm) hook and a medium weight wool (worsted/aran)

Make an 18 round granny square.
Make a 6 round half granny square

Position the half granny at the corner of the large granny square. You may find it helpful to pin it in place. If you do not want to add a decorative edging to the blanket simply slip stitch together the outside edges of the half granny and the large granny square. Leave the bottom edge unattached to form hood!

To edge blanket:

7dc in ch1sp, sc in center dc around.

Personally I like to edge the bottom of the hood also!
